Staff exercise skills at The Drawing Gym

The PJCE team recently completed ‘The Drawing Gym for Engineers’, honing their sketching abilities and learning new techniques. In an age when digital modelling is increasingly becoming an imperative, the ability to illustrate plans and ideas through sketching is an invaluable tool when communicating with clients and teams across the project lifecycle.
Staff were captivated by the course and came away with a real sense of achievement, as well as tangible skills they can use in their day-to-day work.

Ewer Street Structure

The Ewer Street development, for Dorrington plc, is almost complete to roof slab level. An exciting development, constructed well on-site by Stack.

The construction stage of this new basement and 7 storey superstructure Student Accommodation block is progressing well with the basement nearing completion.The steel frame and modular units start installation on-site during February 2020. This is an exciting and challenging Student Modular building.

New Appointment

PJCE is delighted to announce the appointment of James Bishop as Director. James joins us from WSP where he held the position of Technical Director, having gained experience at Arup and Foster + Partners as well. Attracting someone of James’
calibre into the business is a great endorsement of our strategy and ambition. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and experience which will be vital as we continue our ambitious plans to grow and develop engineering solutions for our clients.
