Orchard Wharf, London
Architect: BUJ Architects
This project involved the development of an existing brownfield (formally Esso Petrol Station) site to provide a residential led development across several blocks. The proposed buildings are between 8 & 24 storeys, comprising approximately 330 dwellings & 3 small non-residential, flexible use, spaces. The scheme is developed in conjunction with BUJ Architects
The development lies adjacent the East India Dock Link Tunnel and the structural interaction between the tunnel and the future proposed developments was defined at pre-planning stage. The restrictions on foundations loads from structural schemes adjacent to the tunnel have been developed to comply with the tunnel loading conditions.
